Is it worth going the distance? Absolutely. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Our Socially Distant campaign originated out of sarcasm and satire, but it didn’t take long to figure out how compatible the concept truly is with wild, remote Alaska. It also didn’t take much longer to realize the contrary is so blatantly obvious.

There’s a wide range of personalities, of course – from the gregarious story teller, to the excellent teacher, to the slightly awkward introvert who thrives in the wilderness more than the big city.

With millions of pristine, wild and remote wilderness on the Alaska Peninsula, it’s easy to find a moment of solace, socially distant from the daily pavement-grind.

Social Distancing space is plentiful in remote Alaska.

Sometimes I find myself shaking my head in disbelief of the raw beautify of the Pacific side of the Alaska Peninsula. All who have spent time out here fishing or hiking or soaking in Mother Nature, even if for only a week, are truly lucky people.
