Tide pooling usually not THIS Creepy

Exploring the tide pools near SAFARI camp (an easy 20 minute walk) is normally not this creepy! Former Alaska fishing guide, Johnny Quiroz, captures what appears to be a hand reaching out of an opening in an apparent rock and seawater prison. But the reality is this tomb-like photo shows a whole host of tide pool life – a starfish, limpets, a black katy chiton, snails, barnacles, and various seaweeds.
