OUTPOST Camp, Near Sunset
11.23.15
This photo is taken 4 days after the summer solstice, the longest day of the year/summer (in the northern hemisphere).
Official sunset time on the solstice is 11:33 pm, but it really doesn’t get “dark” until about 1:30 am. And even then it’s not completely dark – you could still strain to read a book on a cloudless night. Sunrise this time of year occurs at 5:20 am, but it starts getting light around 4:30 am.
Bring a sleeping mask, or pull your beanie over your eyes.
