King Salmon Fishing Closures on the Kenai Peninsula

Important information for anyone fishing the Kenai Peninsula this summer:
“A poor return of king salmon on the Anchor River will shut down all sport fishing on the Anchor and Ninilchik rivers and Deep Creek drainages beginning Saturday morning, the Alaska Department of Fish & Game announced Thursday.” Read the full article here.
No, this does not affect our OUTPOST camp fishery (which is on the Alaska Peninsula, not the Kenai Peninsula.)
