Alaska Fishing Report, August, early to mid

Camp: SAFARI
The Fishing: Very strong chum salmon fishing. The pink salmon and dolly fishing are good. Halibut and cod fishing in the bay is very good.
Water Levels: Healthy.
The Weather: Overall the weather has been good, with some some nice warm days and some rain.
Other: We continue to see plenty of bears with an occasional fox, otter and seal sighting. No whale sightings yet.
