Waterfalls, waterfalls and more waterfalls…

Alaska Wilderness SAFARI offers more than just a great, remote fly fishing trip in Alaska…
Definitely one of our top day hikes in Nakalilok Bay, these falls are a 1.5 hour hike from camp.
Only a 20 minute walk from camp, this small coastal waterfall is near good tide pools.
Accessed only during heli-fishing days, this creek has some dolly and salmon fishing, but also a cool waterfall about a 30 minute hike upriver.
What’s more refreshing?
Yes, there are some small fish in the deep waterfall pool. Nothing worth fishing for, though.
Waterfalls on a remote Alaska Peninsula beach accessed by boat. There’s good fossil hunting here, too.
Family fun at the waterfall.
This waterfall is WAY up our river valley… about a 2.5 hour hike.
“Hammond Falls” is small and quaint, but only a 25 minute walk from camp.
A HUGE Nakalilok Bay waterfall we’ve only seen from the air during helicopter fishing days. (Story coming soon on how we got here on foot in 2006!)
