Home from the Alaska Fishing Season
10.07.14
Well, we’re back from another great season of adventuring and fishing in Alaska! We’re definitely all happy to be home but still transitioning back to city life – getting used to cell phones, computers, driving, etc.
I say this every year upon my return to the lower 48 – it’s really nice to not have to look over my shoulder anymore for bears, but drivers that text on their phones are definitely more dangerous than any Alaska grizzly bear (please stop texting and driving!).
We are honored to spend the summers on the Alaska Peninsula, so thanks to all our guests for allowing us to take you on an unique Alaska fishing adventure. And thanks again to our 2014 staff – you guys really made it happen this season with grace and professionalism. (A special thanks to cook Chris C. for keeping our bellies full of amazing food… again.)
We look forward to catching up with everyone between now and next summer. Keep an eye out for the Outpost camp fishing report and the Safari camp fishing report, coming soon. And we have a ton a great photos to share from this season. To those who have not done so, please send us your favorite trip photos when you can.
