Our very own head Alaska fishing guide, Ted Mendrek, makes cover of fishing and hunting calendar by Tosh Brown. (Which, by the way, will make a great Xmas gift – it’s very well done and it’s only $12.)

For those of you who have fished with us in Alaska, you may not even recognize Ted on the cover without his usual Alaska fishing garb or shotgun slung over his shoulder. And there’s probably not a lot of “Ho Bear, Ho Bear!” going here, but I know Tosh and Ted had their share of adventure on this trip!
