Location

Alaska Wilderness OUTPOST camp is approximately a 30 minute charter flight southeast of King Salmon, Alaska on the Bristol Bay side of the Alaska Peninsula.

Just north of Becharof Lake and adjacent to Katmai National Park, our Alaska Wilderness OUTPOST camp is approximately a 30 minute charter flight southeast of King Salmon, Alaska on the Bristol Bay side of the Alaska Peninsula. We are surrounded by the 1.2 million acre Becharof National Wildlife Refuge and limited/challenging access to the area allows us to operate here with little competition from other Bristol Bay fly-out lodges. Sightings of other fishermen are possible, but rare.

If you want absolute isolation for your Alaska fishing adventure check out our coastal Alaska Wilderness SAFARI camp, where we won’t fish with other fishermen from another lodge our entire season. Literally.

The OUTPOST camp sits adjacent to a larger glacially stained river and “Outpost creek” is a 10 or 15 minute hike across the tundra.
